Ex Victoria’s Secret Model Estella Warren Spends Jail Time in LA

It seems like blue-eyed fashion model Estella Warren can't get over something when she crashed her Toyota Prius onto three parked cars in Los Angeles on Monday.

Whether it is about her man or pressure on upcoming film commitments, Warren ends up looking wasted behind prison bars.

The ex Victoria's Secret model was traversing Los Angeles road, where she was found intoxicated by Los Angeles police officers. She was arrested for Driving Under Influence (DUI) after hitting parked vehicles subsequently.

According to reports, the Planet of the Apes star argued with the authorities and slipped off her wrists from the handcuffs. Despite her resistance, the LAPD officers managed to capture and detain her with $100,000 set bail.

Because of her reluctance to submit to authorities, she is now facing additional assault and felony escape charges.

Failure to comply with DUI test or cooperate with authorities can cause more legal trouble. Should she have let the police officers go through the investigation without argument, she will just have to deal with basic DUI penalty.

However, as celebrities are known for fearless crashes, $100,000 is just a cent-worth for Warren. Similar blonde stars such as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Cristina Aguilera have driven drunk on LA and got away with it in hours. All without a worry on paying bail.

If you're wise enough to save your money on worthy cause, you can manage not to drink and drive on LA streets. Or, make sure to fall below 0.08 percent on Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) limit. DUI still has its grave penalties as it is considered as a negligent act.

Under Personal Injury law, a negligent act can lead to liability, especially if the victim suffers harm. The offender can face penalties such as expensive fines, jail time, or payment of damages. The defendant will also have to pay property damage for the crashed vehicle/s.

Should a negligent celeb driver crashed onto your parked vehicle, you can consult with a Personal Injury attorney in Los Angeles to help you assert legal action. For more information, dial our toll free number at 1-866-772-2889, or email us at info@mesriani.com for free case analysis.
