2 Consecutive Accidents in 405 Freeway at Van Nuys Occurred within 4 Days

Within a four-day period, two car accidents have occurred in 405 Freeway in Van Nuys, Los Angeles.

The first accident occurred at around 8:45 p.m. Saturday wherein 4-vehicles were involved, leaving three people seriously injured.

According to a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson, Matt Spence, the accident involving three cars and one motorcycle happened in the North bound lane of Burbank Boulevard.

Aside from the above-said facts, no further details yet were released by the authorities since investigations to determine the main cause of the multi-vehicle accident is still underway.

The second accident happened four days after the first traffic mishap at the same location.

The second accident, which occurred at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, was a single crash involving a pickup truck.

According to witnesses, the pickup truck was over speeding when it plowed through the center divider of the freeway and struck into a tower which supports a freeway overpass.

The truck driver was pronounced dead at the accident scene, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.

All lanes on the northbound side were closed due to the first collision all throughout the 405 Freeway, while several southbound lanes and all northbound were likewise paralyzed as authorities conduct investigation. The 405 Freeway was re-opened after wrecks have been cleared.

In such cases of car accidents, liable parties may be forced to pay for the complainant’s lawyer, aside from the personal damages and compensation for the personal injuries and damages sustained.

Meanwhile, before victims may obtain the said possible compensations, elements of the case must be proven first. Here, Los Angeles injury attorneys who can provide legal assistance throughout the litigation are very significant to win the case.
