65-Year-Old man Killed in Concord Pedestrian Accident

A pedestrian accident in Concord claimed the life of one man the other day.

The Contra Cost Coroner’s office identified the victim as Jose Flores, 65 and a resident of Concord.

According to reports, Flores was trying to cross Clayton Road at Barbis Way at about 6pm when a Buick struck him.

Flores was in a crosswalk when the accident happened.

His family should consult with a wrongful death attorney to know if they can file a lawsuit against the driver of the Buick.

In the reports, there is a strong chance that Flores had the right of way before he was hit by the car.

The fact that he was on a crosswalk strongly indicates that as the case.

However, there are circumstances where even if the pedestrian was in a crosswalk, the car may still have the right of way.

One of them of course is if the car had the green and was too close to avoid the collision.

The wrongful death attorney should be able to advise the family about the case based on its facts and details.
