Superman’s Worst Enemy – Gene Hackman Involved in a Pedestrian Accident

Gene Hackman – the actor best known for his portrayal as Superman’s worst adversary, Lex Luthor – got involved in a pedestrian accident while riding on his bike at Florida Keys, Florida.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, Hackman was riding on his bike in Florida Keys last Friday when a pick-up truck hit him from behind, causing him to be thrown to a grassy shoulder.

Hackman was not wearing a helmet when the accident happened. He sustained bumps and bruises from the incident. However, the truck driver that struck Hackman was not immediately charged of any traffic violation and is still under investigation.

According to Hackman’s spokesperson, the actor was transported to a Florida hospital for medical treatment via airlift.

His spokesperson added that several hours after routine tests, Hackman was released from the hospital and is now doing fine. The personal injuries he sustained are not life-threatening and he is expected to recover soon.
