Woman Killed, Border Patrol Agent Injured in Collision

Slippery roads have caused fatal accidents in the past. Motorists should make it a habit to observe the condition of the road that they are travelling on and to be extra careful along wet and slippery roads.

Travelling on a manageable speed will also help in preventing fatal accidents and will maintain the driver’s control over the vehicle.

A woman, who appeared to be around 30-40 years old, was recently killed as she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a marked vehicle on the opposite lane driven by an on-duty Patrol Border agent.

The woman died at the scene while the Border Patrol agent was rushed to a hospital and was immediately treated for his minor injuries.

Police are still investigating why the woman lost control of the vehicle on a curve and drifted onto the opposite lane where two marked border patrol vehicles were passing.
